In a distance drawn for the whole family, the familiarity and the contact with the nature there are weighty arguments to spend one morning of different Sunday.

It is already in the vacation from the next 05th of October that the Association of the Friends of the Cortelha organizes more a great Walk BTT. After the success of previous years, with the record of participants to be consecutively beaten, this year the distance was even chosen thinking about the whole family, from the oldest to the youngest.

The natural characteristics of the Mountain range of the Cauldron are quite favorable to the practice of BTT, with rails and paths appropriate to this kind, being that besides the natural adrenalin and adventure, the contact with the interior will be a strong point of this initiative.

Besides being able to count with a different morning, the lovers of two wheels annex physical activity to the contact with the nature, reasons more than sufficient to lead it to catch the bicycle and leave even to the interior of the Mountain range.

The starting point will be in the village of the Cortelha, in a walk that the intervention of 45 stretches out for the customs of Salir, Ameixial, Almodôvar and Cachopo, with three distances of different difficulties, the shortest thing of 15 kms, kms and most spread out of 80 kms.

The concentration of the participants is marked between 07 h and 08 h, in the thirst of the Association of the Friends of the Cortelha, with the bicycles to begin to walk at around 09h. In the end, about 13 h, the deserved rest will arrive, with the lunch familiarity between all the participants.

The value of the inscriptions is of 15 € and it includes breakfast, insurance, solid and liquid supplies, health-resorts, t-shirt of the walk, lunch and toasts, being able to be effectuated till the 1st of October, through the site www.amigosdacortelha.pt or in the shops followers.

Organized by the Association of the Friends of the Cortelha, the Walk of BTT of the Cortelha it counts with the support of the Town Hall of Loulé, of the Board of Customs of Salir, Board of Customs of the Ameixial, of the INATEL, of the Association of Cycling of the Algarve, of the ADJ 3 System and of the Waters Caramulo, the Newspaper South Region is the partner it was measuring.
