On the 16th of November of 2008 the Beselga is going to wake up in different way! THE BTT is of turn, of this action with 4 ª Marathon of BTT “In the Rails of the Ceireiro”. The Association Beselguense, organizing entity of this event, besides the Marathon and the Half Marathon presents the Mini-marathon of BTT as a novelty in this publication. A Associação Beselguense, entidade organizadora deste evento, para além da Maratona e da Meia Maratona apresenta como novidade nesta edição a Mini-Maratona de BTT.

In a distance drawn for the whole family, the familiarity and the contact with the nature there are weighty arguments to spend one morning of different Sunday.

It is already in the vacation from the next 05th of October that the Association of the Friends of the Cortelha organizes more a great Walk BTT. After the success of previous years, with the record of participants to be consecutively beaten, this year the distance was even chosen thinking about the whole family, from the oldest to the youngest.

The natural characteristics of the Mountain range of the Cauldron are quite favorable to the practice of BTT, with rails and paths appropriate to this kind, being that besides the natural adrenalin and adventure, the contact with the interior will be a strong point of this initiative. (more …)

This event will have a marathon of 80Km and stocking-marathon of 40Km, in which in the first km the distance will be common to two distances.

The inscriptions can be effectuated HERE. The value of the inscription is of 15,00€ c / lunch, s / I have 10,00€ for lunch, of 5,00€ for companion, being thought only valid after payment, in the value of the inscription it is included, food reinforcements and memories (For inscriptions paid after the 16th of September, the memories are limited by an existent stock). On the weekend of the 3, 4 and 5th of October of 2008 all the ways of the lovers of the BTT are going to give the Evora.

The Town Hall of Evora promotes, for the first time, in this date the BIKÉVORA, a mega event around the bicycles the whole land that promises to attract to the historical city the whole apprentice type of BTT, namely the marathon runners, the courageous ones of Down Town or the usual participants of familiar proofs. This Saturday, I the Rabbet (GSLV) and our dear colleague Sérgio Saldanha (main organizer of “Peaks of the West”) did the recognition of the 2nd part of the distance of the Extreme.

They were 65Km with almost 2000m when of it was accumulated, reaching the highest point of the frontier, to 660 meters above the sea level, in full Mountain range of Montejunto!

.Aí is he, it silver coin of the year does his utmost informal more. Organized by a friend of the group and with our support in the sketch and recognition of the distance. The turn is divided in two parts, in the first one the connection will be done to the mountain range of the help giving 40Km and 2400m accumulated, and in the second part we will be going to enter in the mountain range of Montejunto doing 80km and 1600m of accumulated. Everything added up, gives 120Km and 4.000m accumulated … Is of crazy ones!!
