One morning in the Help! …
Boas people.
Here there are a few photos of a last morning in the Mountain range of the Help (Towers Vedras). Besides the great scenery in the top, the mountain range of the help has 2 traces of spectacular DH, with 300m of unevenness and 2 km of extension, each one.
There are very accessible traces to the one who has not 200mm of suspension course in the bicycle, and are a guaranteed fountain of adrenalin and of amusement!
Soon in the beginning of the rise for the top, we find something that left us bewildered! Would it be a giant turkey that avoided the last Christmas supper? Would a tiled sparrow be a mutante? I do not do the least idea, it is the certain one that finds them to me a GIANT passarolho, with nearly 1 meter of height, and approximately 3 meters of wingspan of wings (enormous!). After a few inquiries, I think that it is the question of a dark-Vulture (Aegypius monachus). One of the biggest birds of the world, which can reach 15 kg of weight (for a "chicken" it is immense) and that is about to extinction, being rare to catch sight of a bird of this in Portugal!!
